F1 retrospective exhibition
Always highly attuned to the historical motorsport events of our country, Escudería Targa Iberia is preparing a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the last Formula 1 Grand Prix held in Montjuïc and the 75th anniversary since the creation of the Formula 1 specialty, a category that has always had one of its most iconic venues in the Catalan capital. The debut of the World Championship in Barcelona took place at the Pedralbes circuit in 1951, moving to Montjuïc in 1969, and since 1991, to the permanent home at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
With this historical intent, Escudería Targa Iberia is preparing to showcase some single-seaters that competed during these magical years at Montjuïc, widely considered the golden era of F1. The handful of single-seaters that will be displayed will be accompanied by a photographic exhibition placing them in context, along with posters and other F1-related items, a collection of elements that will undoubtedly add prestige to the anniversary due to the fittingness of the moment and the location.
