Live Swing

Once again on Saturday and Sunday, the Circuit paddock will be transformed into a dance floor, where we can enjoy a super live swing band and free classes and demonstrations of Lindi Hop.

Low & Slow from La Garriga and the Swing Maresme dance school will be in charge of making us move our skeletons and delight us with some Lindi Hop classes. It will be on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the dance floor of Espíritu de Montjuïc.

And as it could not be otherwise, we will have a great live Swing band, this year we will have Doc Scanlon’s Cool Cat Combo.

Doc Scanlon’s Cool Cat Combo plays the authentic sound of the 20s, 30s and 40s, always combined with a feeling of joy and optimism.

Their style is inspired by traditional New Orleans jazz and the swing of two of the most influential musicians: Benny Goodman and Louis Armstrong.

We will be able to see them on Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 on the stage in front of the dance floor at Espírtiu de Montjuïc.

Come and bring your partner. Throughout Saturday and Sunday you can also enjoy those dances that are as popular today as they were before, and if you feel like it, jump on the dance floor to start or perfect them alongside authentic masters!

Stage and dance floor times:

-11:30 a.m. Meeting on the dance floor in the paddock
-12:00 p.m. Start of the guided class
-12:30 p.m. Start of the dance (with the live swing band)
-1:15 p.m. End of the first part of the dance/break for the band
-1:15 p.m. Start of the second guided class
-1:45 p.m. End of the second guided class
-1:45 p.m. Start of the second dance (with the live swing band)
-2:30 p.m. End of the dance
-3:15 p.m. The swing band does a final 45-minute set
